Who we are

Along with Atherton, Horwich & Blackrod, Horwich North East, Smithills, Westhoughton North & Chew Moor and Westhoughton South, we are one of the seven Members' Branches of the Bolton West Constituency Labour Party.

Where we are

We represent Heaton, Lostock, Ladybridge a part of Deane and other smaller areas to the west of Bolton, UK

What we believe in

We have a few overriding beliefs:

The right of all people to freedom, democracy, justice, food, education, medical care and other essentials of life

The right to be represented at work and not exploited

The right of equality regardless of gender, race, religion, sexual orientation, place of birth or upbringing

We are democratic Socialists who firmly believe that politics must benefit the most disadvantaged in our society but that participating must be fun too.

Our website has been highly successful bringing contacts from all over the UK but also from such diverse places as Norway, Switzerland, Germany, Canada, Turkey, the USA, and Thailand. Until the counter was reset in May 2008 we'd had an average of about 1,500 hits a year and, since then, we've been racking up the visitors and you are number:
